Can the courier refuse to collect, if my items aren't in a box?

It’s up to you to ensure your items are safely packaged for transportation in accordance with our packaging criteria prior to the driver arriving, otherwise the courier may refuse to collect your items. You must now rebook your collection.

Because your original collection was refused there will be charges for rebooking.

Packaging your items for transportation

Badly packaged items are liable to break in transit and could also damage other parcels around them.

Your items must be in a sturdy, sealed box, if your items are too large to place in a box, we can also accept palletised goods with some of our carriers. You can find a comprehensive guide on packaging your items here.
